The night of the Gala is fast-paced, fun and inspiring. You'll taste first-class food and be part of creating lasting change for our community.
Start the night at the photobooth with you and your guests, taking pictures to remember the night. There will be a wine pull, chocolate pull, putt-putt golf hole, silent auction, lemonade stand, signature drink and much more!
Your Gala ticket also ensures you will be the first audience to hear the guests voices in the first-ever St. John's Choir!
You'll enjoy the stroytelling and life experience of a gifted and award-winning journalist and author Steve Lopez.
Lopez is the author of the book The Soloist: A Lost Dream, an Unlikely Friendship, and the Redemptive Power of Music that inspired the Dreamworks film. Lopez will speak about the experiences that led him to write The Soloist and his friendship with a downtown Los Angeles musician named Nathaniel Ayers who was a homeless, Julliard-trained and struggling with mental illness while playing music on the streets with a two-stringed violin.
